Seven equipping areas
The Huddle
Playbook
The Huddle Playbook is our written framework for growth and character — seven equipping areas we walk young people through: Vision, Identity, Purpose, Goals, Identifying your TRIBE, Overcoming Fear and Setbacks, and Planning. It is taught in the language of sport, so an athlete recognizes it immediately, and it is built to outlast the seasons they play.
The foundation
Four timeless questions: Origin, Meaning, Morality, Destiny.
The centerpiece
Seven areas we equip, in order
Each area has a conviction behind it — the lines below are how The Huddle says it out loud, in groups, in seminars and in one-on-one conversations.
Vision
“Our motivation is to get every individual to realize they have a Dream and walk into their Destiny!”
Identity
“Our identity determines our worth! Once we know who we truly are it sets us free to impact the world around us!”
Purpose
“Every life has meaning! Everyone's story is important! Your Dreams Count and your voice matters! You exist to make an impact!”
Goals
“Our existence isn't accidental. It is time to step into what you were designed for.”
Identifying Your TRIBE
“It is impossible to be great on our own.”
Overcoming Fear and Setbacks
“We are not the sum total of our worst moments.”
Planning
“Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed. No one is self-made — plans work best when they are designed and exercised through a team!”
The foundation underneath it
Four timeless questions
Every person answers these — deliberately or by default. The Playbook makes the answering deliberate, and every equipping area traces back to one of them.
Origin
Where did I come from?
Meaning
Why am I here?
Morality
How should I live?
Destiny
Where am I going?
The language of the game
Football symbols, used as teaching devices
Athletes already know this vocabulary. The Playbook borrows it on purpose — the huddle, the ball, the position, the red zone — so a spiritual truth lands in a language a competitor trusts.

- The Huddle
- The circle of unity and accountability — where the plan is spoken and everybody hears their part.
- The Football
- Scripture. The thing the whole game moves around, carried and protected.
- The Playbook
- The Bible and the journal — what has already been written, and what you are writing as you learn it.
- Position
- Discovering your gifts and the role only you can play on the team.
- The Red Zone
- Pushing through the hardest seasons — the ground closest to the goal is always the most contested.
- The Heart
- Motivation and love. Why you play at all, and who you are playing for.
- The Trophy
- Celebrating victories and telling the testimony that came with them.
- The Down Marker
- Honest self-assessment: how far we have come, and what our next move is.
Scripture anchor
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.”
Live it weekly with a group
Huddle Groups are where the Playbook stops being a document and becomes mentorship, accountability, discipleship and community.
